The Bella Food Forest

What if our green spaces fed us, delighted us, and healed the Earth — all at once?

In a residential landscape in Clintonville, the Bella Food Forest is a work in progress — a backyard-scale attempt to explore what happens when food, habitat, and beauty are all invited to grow together. It’s not a finished product or a polished showcase, but a living lab: learning, adapting, and slowly stitching together deeper relationships between land, people, and possibility.

As the space continues to evolve, the hope is that it will offer inspiration and insight — not just for how we can grow food, but for how we can grow systems of care, connection, and ecological abundance right in our neighborhoods.
